Your dog is always learning. What are you teaching him?

PET DOG TRAINING SERVICES
Do you avoid inviting friends and family over because your dog is so out of control? Are you embarrassed to walk your pooch in public because the pulling, lunging, and barking has gotten so bad?

Perhaps you're just looking to get that new puppy started out on the right paw or teach your newly adopted fur-kid some simple basic training and manners.

Whichever the case, we're here to help! Problem behaviors are easily modified and new skills quickly learned. We teach you to teach your dog - and the best part is - it's fun, easy and effective when you train with our "Positively, Dog-Friendly" method.

Using our reward based dog training method you will not only strengthen the bond between you and your dog but you will also build a relationship with your pet based on mutual trust and respect.

We do not use shock, choke or pinch collars. We do not use any fear or force based training methods such as alpha rolls, scruff shakes, intimidation, leash corrections, or yelling.

Using punishment, or any aversive techniques, not only weakens the bond of trust between you and your dog, but also provides him with very little usable information. Punishing your dog tells him the choice he made was wrong, but gives him no direction for what he should have done instead.

Many behavior problems can be resolved with just one session and you can choose from a variety of days and times to fit into your hectic schedule. You choose what you want your dog to learn so your sessions are focused on your needs. And, best of all, we come to you!

Give us a call and let us design a program to fit your needs and lifestyle. The initial phone consultation is always FREE of charge - this is the time to tell us your needs.

Say "NO" to Shock Collars

To use shock as an effective dog training method you will need:
A thorough understanding of canine behavior.
A thorough understanding of learning theory.
Impeccable timing.
And if you have those three things, you don't need a shock collar.
